PICKENS COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

Reform's City Council members are expected to get their feet wet in alcohol sales before taking the dive in Tuesday night's council meeting.

Copies of alcohol ordinances from Carollton, Aliceville and Fayette are expected to be distributed, which will be used as examples for members to use as they begin to write drafts for Reform's ordinance.

"As mayor, I'll definitely be respective of schools, churches and determining where alcohol and other alcoholic beverages can be sold," Mayor Bennie Harton said after the deciding vote.

Reform citizens can join the city council meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The mayor says it will likely take them a month to discuss and approve the rules and regulations concerning the city's alcohol ordinance.
