FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

Police are searching for the man wanted in connection with a Florence convenience store robbery.

Investigators said the robbery happened Friday at the Quick Stop Market on Chisholm Road. According to authorities, a man walked into the store and grabbed the clerk from behind. Police said the offender left the store with cash and got into a blue or teal mini-van with a handicap placard.

Officers are looking for Lashawn Marquiz Ingram, 32, of Florence, in connection with the robbery.

Ingram is 5'11" and weighs around 160 pounds. He also has a tattoo on his lower right arm with the words "Dirty South."

Authorities said Ingram is considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts you're asked to call 256-760-6610.
