Daviston woman dies following single-vehicle accident on Saturday

ALEXANDER CITY, AL (WSFA) -

Officials say a Daviston woman has died following a single-vehicle crash on Saturday.

Alabama State Troopers say 51-year-old Linda Faye Parrish died on Sunday from injuries she received, when the 1995 Pontiac Sunfire she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

The accident occurred around 6:35 a.m. on Alabama 22, one mile west of Daviston. Seat belts were not in use at the time of the accident.

No other information is known at this time as troopers continue to investigate.
