SCOTTSBORO, AL (WAFF) -

A Tuesday morning high-speed chase endedsafely in Jackson County.

Sheriff's officials said it started around 9a.m. in an attempted traffic stop in Flat Rock and ended in Scottsboro, aftercity police set out spike strips.

37-year-old Charles Kevin Wooten of TrentonGA faces numerous traffic charges including reckless driving and recklessendangerment following the chase.

Officials said during the chase, Wooten wasclocked at speeds of just over 130 miles per hour.
