HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

This week, I looked through all the reports on our See, Click, Fix site and found this picture. One of our viewers snapped it. It's garbage, dumped in the alley behind homes on Clinton Avenue in Huntsville.

We checked it out and found just what the picture showed in the 1600 block of Clinton Avenue. There were tiles plopped near the side of the back road. According to the person reporting on See, Click Fix, they've been there for at least several months. There's really no way of knowing who dumped it there.

The city assigned cleanup to the Green Team, a group founded in 1977 to clean up the community. The Sparkle Team's supervisor is now on his way to get it cleaned up.

If you see something like this in the Rocket City, post it on See, Click, Fix, and the Green Team will look into it.

Now, back to the roads where we get a lot of reports about potholes. Most are more like cracks, but I can confirm we found a pothole. It's on Drake Avenue at the intersection with L&N Drive. We found several drivers hitting it, heading east, either going straight or turning south on L&N. Public Works is on it. They're set to fix it soon. We'll check back for you.
