ARAB, AL (WAFF) -

A Tennessee Valley assisted care facilityhas, for the second year running, been given an award of excellence.

The Golden Living Center nursing home in Arabwas named among the best in the nation, according to a study done by U.S. News& World Report. The facility earned a five-star rating in categories suchas health inspections, nurse staffing, and other quality measures.

"It's clean; a nice staff,"said resident Danny Brandon. "You get wonderful people around you."

"We've worked hard everyday, and honestly, it doesn't matter if we get recognition or not – we're stillgoing to deliver the same quality of care," said Executive Director MarkTuggle.

"Our team works togetherlike a family. I think that's probably the most important aspect of why we getthis type of result," Tuggle said.
