TUCSON, Ariz. – For the fourth time in four days, the Arizona men's swim team has been a part of a Pac-12 meet record and for the second straight night junior Kevin Cordes was the record setter as he won the 200 breast to close out the Pac-12 Championships on Saturday inside Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.

Cordes actually set the meet record in the 200 breast on two occasions on Saturday. He broke the previous record this morning with a time of 1:52.37 in prelims. Cordes followed that up with an impressive 1:51.80 to run away in the finals, breaking his own record. Teammate Sam Rowan finished in third with a time of 1:55.30. In addition, Eric Solis and Andrew Sovero went 2-3 in the "B" final of the event.

Junior Brian Stevens also earned valuable points for the Wildcats by finishing seventh in the 100 free with a time of 43.52. Giles Smith advanced to the "B" final where he placed fourth in 43.76.

The Wildcats had a 1-2 finish in the "B" final of the 200 fly as Matt Barber (1:44.35) took first with Michael Meyer finishing just behind (1:44.50).
