MUSCLE SHOALS, AL (WAFF) -

The former Muscle Shoals police officer accused of hunting in his patrol car lost his appeal.

The Alabama Court of Appeals upheld Greg Scoggins conviction. He was charged with shooting and killing a deer from his patrol car on federal property.

A Colbert County judge found him guilty of hunting without a license, but not guilty of reckless endangerment, and firing from a vehicle.

Scoggins lost his job after being arrested.
