The project targets improvements from Jan Davis Drive to Slaughter Road and will include a new four-lane roadway, bridges, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, and a new greenway parking area.

The City of Huntsville will host the second annual Community Kite Festival Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jaycees Building and surrounding area, John Hunt Park, Airport Road. The Ribbon Cutting and Opening Ceremony begins at 10:45 a.m.
