Apparent electrocution takes life of Madison Co. man

A Madison County man is dead after an apparent electrocution. Crews responded to a house on Old Railroad Bed Road around 6:30 tonight. Authorities said the man was working on his air conditioner when he was killed.

A lot of people still have questions about the Department of Justice's opposition to the Huntsville City School rezoning plan. But what Superintendent Dr. Casey Wardynski is doing is... not a lot of talking. What happened when we sent reporter Sarah Navoy to ask the tough questions brought a lot of reaction on social media.

Alabama lawmakers passed two of four abortion bills tonight. HB489 will extend the waiting period required for a woman to have an abortion from 24 to 48 hours. The house also passed a bill that would ban an abortion once a fetal heartbeat is detected. Both bills now go to the House for consideration.
