MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police will reveal details of recent drug arrests Wednesday. Police have called a press conference for Wednesday afternoon, at which they say they will outline the work of Madison County Strategic Counter Drug Team along with local DEA offices, which worked in collaboration to make these arrests.

Governor Robert Bentley will recognize Alabama companies that excel in doing business around the world. Wednesday in Montgomery, the Governor will award eight companies with Trade Excellence Awards. The ceremony will be held at the Old State House at 11 a.m.

The Madison County Board of Education will meet Thursday evening in a special session. The topic of the meeting will be revisions to the school calendar for the 2014-2015 school year.
