Accused Decatur shooter waives preliminary hearing

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A grand jury will soon receive a case againsta suspected gunman.

Richard "Lil Bok" Mitchell waived a preliminaryhearing Tuesday. He is accused of shooting a man in the leg in mid-February onSecond Avenue in Decatur.

The victim was treated and released. Mitchellturnedhimself in after a day-long manhunt.

Mitchell is free on $10,000 bond.
