Authorities have arrested five people following an investigation into drug activity at a home in Orangeburg.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell with the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office say the arrests stems from a year long investigation into numerous complaints at a home on Russell street.

On Feb. 28, officers went to the home and located Taquan Bookhard inside a vehicle. Authorities say Jessica Dayshawn Spigner, Jamel J. Guinyard, Joan C. Barnett and Eric Lamont Bradley Jr. were inside the home.

A report states as officers conducted a search, narcotics were found in plain sight throughout the house.

Investigators seized two pounds of marijuana, eight grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a loaded 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun.
