Vigil marks three years since Shelley Mook disappeared

Posted: Updated:

A Shelbyville family is still holding out hope that one day their loved one, Shelley Mook, will be found.

Family and friends gathered this evening in front of the Bedford County courthouse.

The 24-year-old middle school teacher vanished three years ago, after she dropped her daughter off at her ex-husband's house. Her car was later found burned in a field near Murfreesboro.

Mook's ex-husband, Tyler, has been considered a prime suspect in his wife's disappearance, but has never been charged.
