NOPD searching for runaway Algiers teen

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Police are asking for the publics help to find a missing Algiers teenager they believe ran away from home.

Diamond Moore was last seen at her house on the 2800 block of Amazon Street around 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 28. She was discovered missing around 9:30 a.m. During the investigation, police learned that between 7:30 and 8 a.m. Moore made several phone calls to another teenager known as "A" or "Anthony."

Moore is described as 5'7", 140lbs with a light complexion. Anyone with information on the location of Moore is asked to contact Detective Robert King at 504-658-6040 or rlking@nola.gov.
