Governor visits Shoals on 'Road to Economic Recovery' tour

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Governor Robert Bentley will be in the Shoals area on Friday to talk about jobs.

The governor will visit two businesses in Florence for a roundtable discussion. The trip is part of his "Road to Economic Recovery" tour.

Bentley said he'll talk about area economic conditions with business owners. He'll also brief them on the state's efforts to bring more jobs to Alabama.

The roundtable will start at 1:30 p.m. on Hightower Place. Around 2:45 p.m., the governor will visit B Electric on Northington Court.

    Three adult males and one juvenile were arrested in Limestone County on Thursday after a four-hour manhunt and charged with multiple counts stemming from a string of vehicle thefts.Three adult males and one juvenile were arrested in Limestone County on Thursday after a four-hour manhunt and charged with multiple counts stemming from a string of vehicle thefts.

    A ground search ensued that lasted about four hours and covered approximately six miles, ending a few hundred yards east of Hays Mill Road where the suspects were caught in a hunting stand/shoot house.
