(BOEING/FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION/CNN) – It's a smartphone that would make James Bond jealous.

Aerospace manufacturer Boeing unveiled a new "self-destructing" smartphone this week, called the "Boeing Black."

The company says it's meant for people who work for or with government agencies in defense and homeland security.

The "self-destruct" feature isn't quite as dramatic as it sounds – it simple erases all of its data if someone tried to break into the phone.

It's loaded with other security features as well.

It runs on Google's Android operating system and encrypts calls and stored data.

Boeing is releasing limited information about its first smartphone. The device is expected to be out this summer, but no word on how much it will cost.
