MUSCLE SHOALS, AL (WAFF) -

Muscle Shoals is celebrating the release of ‘Muscle Shoals.'

The documentary which celebrates the legendary FAME Studios and its legacy in the music industry, is out on DVD. Dozens of people were in line waiting to get copies autographed by studio founder Rick Hall and members of rhythm group The Swampers.

People began lining up around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, and the line quickly wrapped up and down several aisles of the Muscle Shoals Walmart where the event was being held.

One music fan said the wait was well worth the reward. "I've always been a big music fan my entire life. What's bigger than coming to meet the people that made my hometown what it is," said Vince Lyle.

‘Muscle Shoals' currently holds a 97% "Fresh" rating on meta-review site Rotten Tomatoes, which aggregates reviews from both mainstream movie critics and independent reviewers.

David: Showers and storms ongoing across the Valley

    Saturday, March 25 2017 5:50 PM EDT2017-03-25 21:50:37 GMT

Showers and storms will be ongoing across the Valley this evening. The most widespread rain will be over northeastern AL, but additional scattered storms will track into the Shoals from the west. That round of stormy weather will head east with time and should be out of the Valley after midnight. The threat for severe storms is low, but a few strong storms are possible.
