TUSKEGEE, AL (WSFA) -

One of the two big votes expected by the Tuskegee City Council didn't happen as planned Tuesday. The council voted to table the vote on a new night club policy.

The vote had been delayed following discussion at the council's last meeting, as well.

Also on the agenda was a vote on the continuation of a 2 cent sales increase. That increase was first proposed and passed last February, and many residents were not happy about it.

Some city leaders wantied to continue the increase and they passed the the increase extension Tuesday night for an additional year.
