DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A DeKalb County constable could be thrown out of office. He faces numerous charges stemming from his construction business.

41-year-old Kneeley Pack with Pack and Son Construction was arrested Friday and was released on $50,000 bond. He faces an eleven count indictment which includes charges of theft by deception, possession of a forged instrument, home repair fraud, and building without proper licenses.

The indictment reveals four different victims, one of whom claims Pack received nearly $20,000 up front to do work on a Fort Payne residence after a car ran into the home.

The victim said Pack used broken blocks and that the wall had to be torn down and redone. Ultimately, the victim said, the work wasn't completed satisfactorily, and Pack walked off the job six months ago.

Pack said there was never any intention to steal anything from anyone. He said he plans to provide a full response after meeting with his attorney, adding that the situation will be made right.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and more charges could be made.
