MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Alabama State Troopers have named a person ofinterest in a high-speed chase through Marshall County.

Troopers said they would like to speak with40-year-old Michael Shane Baker of Arab in connection with the investigation.

Troopers said they attemptedto stop someone in a red Chevrolet truck around 9 a.m. Wednesday. Thatperson then fled at a high rate of speed, but abandoned the vehicle on AllensCross Road. Troopers said a man grabbed a long gun and fled into the woods.

Air support and canine tracking dogs weresent to look for the suspect but he was not found.
