Marine police ask Bassmaster spectators to keep distance

Many people will want to be spectators on thewater for this weekend's BassmasterClassic Championship in Marshall County, but anglers and the marine policeare asking those watching by boat to maintain their distance.

People enjoyed watching the professionalsthat were out for a practice run Wednesday morning in advance of Friday'sthree-day tournament. Marine police said they will be out in force during thetournament.

"When an angler leaves a spot, that spotcannot be re-fished. These guys are here for only three days so they requestthat you leave the spots alone," said Marine Police Officer Thomas Bobo.

Marine police also warn they will beperforming safety checks on boaters.
