LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A Russellville man is in the Lawrence County Jail facing charges in connection with a two-year-old crime.

Deputies arrested Faron Dean Angus and charged him with burglary and theft of property. Authorities said he broke into a home on County Road 290 back in January 2012.

According to Sheriff Gene Mitchell, Angus was identified as the offender by fingerprints left at the scene.

The sheriff said Angus was previously arrested and convicted for two other break-ins that happened back in 2004.

Bond for Angus is set at $10,000.
