DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Two Decatur men are in jail after they were arrested on cocaine charges on Monday.

Decatur police were investigating Sorrell Hubbard for the last two months. He and another man, Julio Brito, face several charges, including cocaine trafficking, distribution of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Officers arrested Hubbard and Brito at a Chevron station on 14th Street. Police said both men had cocaine on them. Officers reported that Brito resisted arrest and was later found to be in possession of a handgun, marijuana and electronic scales.

Hubbard was charged with three counts of distribution of a controlled substance and trafficking cocaine. Brito was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia/delivery-sale, carrying a pistol without a permit and resisting arrest.

Both men are in the Decatur City Jail, but Hubbard will soon be moved to the Morgan County Jail. Hubbard's bond is set at $20,000, and Brito's bond totals at $27,000.
