Live stream will capture process of removing Corvettes from sinkhole under national museum

BOWLING GREEN, KY (WAVE) – A live stream is available to witness the delicate task of removing eight prized Corvettes from the bottom of a sinkhole which opened up under the National Corvette Museum.

The collapse of the sinkhole grabbed national headlines earlier this month.

A webcam is set up to capture the progress of workers trying to safely remove the cars from the hole. In order to do so, extra support is being added to the structure and side panels are being taken out of the wall to make room for a crane which will pluck the cars out of the sinkhole.

    A ground search ensued that lasted about four hours and covered approximately six miles, ending a few hundred yards east of Hays Mill Road where the suspects were caught in a hunting stand/shoot house.
