MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A judge declared a mistrial Friday in the Morgan County murder trial of a man accused of killing his infant daughter.

Jury selection for the trial was previously delayed for two days because of the winter storm.

Gary Lee Wilbourn is accused of killing his 4-month-old daughter in 2008. Investigators said Wilbourn shook the infant to death because she wouldn't stop crying.

Prosecutors said Wilbourn confessed, but according to his defense lawyers, he made the comments while he was off his medication.

The trial has been reset for April 21.
