Natchitoches man arrested, accused of inappropriate relationship with 15-year-old girl

NATCHITOCHES PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Detectives have arrested a local man in connection with an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

According to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr., NPSO detectives were contacted on January 29 by the girl's parents with allegations of sexual misconduct involving an adult male and their daughter.

In their investigation, the detectives conducted interviews and learned that the man allegedly had improper sexual relations with the girl multiple times dating back to November 2013. They got a warrant and arrested 19-year-old William Bell Sykes Jr. of the 2100 block of Hwy 477 in the St. Maurice community of Natchitoches. 

Bell was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center on February 10, charged with 1 count of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. He remains in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center awaiting bond.
