HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Firefighters responded to the scene of a house fire early Tuesday morning.

Crews responded to 3606 Ayers Drive around 6 a.m. in response to a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters said they could see flames pouring out of the front of the house.

Most of the attic was destroyed in the fire and there was extensive smoke damage. Seven fire trucks were on the scene, and crews are still making sure everyone got out of the house.
