COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A judge set a bond hearing for a children's pastor accused of sexual abuse.

Jeff Eddie is currently in custody on more than 30 counts of child porn, sexual abuse of a child, and sodomy.

Judge Chad Coker set the bond hearing for 8 a.m. on Feb. 18.

The judge also made a ruling on a motion filed regarding Eddie's representation. His current defense attorney, Billy Underwood, filed a motion requesting the judge to assign an indigent attorney for Eddie. Underwood said Eddie does not have the money to retain his counsel.

The judge ruled that Underwood will have to withdraw as attorney before the judge will appoint an indigent attorney.
