Here's A Look At The Projected Snow For Tonight

Posted: Updated:

It doesn't look too impressive when you look at the projected snowfall on that map, but you never know. That's why the WAFF 48 Storm Team is going all out to make sure you're prepared for the winter storm that's scheduled to visit us later today.

Meteorologist Jeff Castle is tracking what could be a mixture of rain, sleet and snow and come in two waves. Check out Weather On The Tens for updates and when you can expect things to get a little slick in your neighborhood.

Lauren Morrison is also out this morning, checking on how road crews are getting ready. She'll also run down what public works crews, officers and valley EMAs learned from Birmingham a few weeks ago.

And Redstone Arsenal drivers, you should have a little easier time this morning. At least, those of you who can utilize Gate 8. It's back open this morning. We'll check in live with our Muriel Bailey.

And that's just the start of what we're covering this morning. Let us help you get your Monday started. And remember to stay weather aware throughout the day today, tonight and into tomorrow.

As Brad Travis says, "We're here. Always here."

Now, let's get this Monday underway. WAFF 48 News Today is on right now!
