Police: Traffic incident followed by robbery

Police responded to a robbery Saturday morning. Police responded to a robbery Saturday morning.
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Police reported that a slight car wreck led to an armed robbery around 8:55 a.m. Saturday.

The victim told officers that another car bumped into his near the intersection of Jordan Lane and Sparkman Drive. The victim said both vehicles pulled into the parking lot at the intersection to look at the damage, but then one of the robbers pulled a gun and forced him to get into his car while one of them drove him to Airport Road.

The victim said he was then forced to get out and walk. A short time later, he said he returned to the area and found his truck.

No one has been arrested yet. This investigation is ongoing.
