GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

The National Bassmaster Classic Championship is weeks away in Marshall County. This weekend, cleanup preparations begin.

Anyone with an able body is welcome to pitch in with the cleanup effort, which begins Saturday. The mission is being dubbed "Operation Company is Coming."

The City of Guntersville is looking for as many volunteers as possible to begin the citywide cleanup initiative Saturday morning. Several areas in need of sprucing up include the harbor, walking trails, and the downtown area.

Volunteers are asked to come to the Rotary cabin on Sunset Drive by 10 a.m. Saturday. Cleanup is set to run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
