FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

Florence Police said a woman stole a checkbook in order to write a check for a child support payment.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Kimberly Ann Sibert and charged with felony forgery and theft of property.

Sibert is accused of stealing a neighbor's checkbook and forging the owner's name on a check in an effort to pay child support. She was arrested without incident, booked at the Lauderdale County Detention Center and released on bond.
