MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Tuesday is the last day parents can tell Madison County Schools what they think about proposed changes to school start times.

Almost 5,000 people have already taken the survey, and the outcome could impact when kids start and end their school day.

The district wants to stagger school hours for elementary, middle and high school students to avoid bus overcrowding. As the number of students has grown, the district's transportation budget has not, so they're trying to find other ways to make things work.

You can take the survey by following the link in the sidebar or on the You Saw It page.
