2nd arrest made in Knight Rd. shooting death

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police have made a second arrest in connection with the January shooting death of Timothy Smith.

Investigators arrested 27-year-old Anthony Deandre Robinson in Birmingham Monday. He was taken back to the Madison County Metro Jail and charged with two counts of capital murder, capital murder during a burglary, and capital murder committed from outside a dwelling.

Robinson is the second person arrested in connection with Smith's death, which took place on Knight Road Jan. 17. Immediately after the crime, police arrested 27-year-old Anthony Ray Battle and charged him with two counts of capital murder.

Robinson and Battle are being held in the Metro Jail without bond.
