Hudson pastor jailed in the Philippines is now free

Posted: Updated:

Pastor Tom Randall of Christ Community Chapel in Hudson is now a free man.

The pastor had been jailed in the Philippines for 22 days, accused in a human trafficking case.

According to a Facebook message posted by fellow clergyman, Rev. Joe Coffey, Pastor Randall is free and all charges have been dropped.

Rev. Coffey said Rev. Randall became involved in the human trafficking case when a staff member at his orphanage was falsely accused of kissing a young girl.

The message by Rev. Coffey goes on to say he's still praying for the truth to come out and for the welfare of the children.

Rev. Randall has been doing missionary work in the Philippines for close to two decades.
