MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A Morgan County murder suspect arrested over four years ago wants another trial delay.

Decatur police arrested Lorenzo Langford in January of 2010 on the charges of beating his step-grandmother to death.

Defense attorneys said several mental health professionals have treated Langford and they need more time to get a hold of his mental health records. He's pleading not guilty due to mental disease or defect.

The motion shows the District Attorney isn't objecting to the delay.
