MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Emergency crews responded to numerous traffic accidents due to hazardous road conditions Tuesday.

Two minor accidents happened at Cathedral Caverns Road just outside of Guntersville. In both instances, the cars were coming in a little too fast and when they couldn't make the turn they hit the brakes, causing them to slide straight into the curb.

Marshall County authorities say there were at least 80 accidents reported in the county during the inclement weather.
