HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Strep throat is making more Valley children sick, according to Huntsville Pediatric Associates.

Doctors last week said that while strep throat hasn't brought in big numbers in a while, it beat the flu by one case. 33 children tested positive for strep throat, and 32 had the flu. Doctors said that so far, only one child in Alabama has died from the flu.

The flu that's going around is the same H1N1 flu that caused the 2009 pandemic. It's covered by the current flu vaccines. Doctors said you still have time to get one.
