4 deputies in hazmat scare during death investigation

Good Friday evening.

We're staying on top of a developing story in Madison County. Four Madison County Sheriff's deputies  have been checked out and are okay after a chemical scare. This all happened after the body of a possible suicide victim was found inside a car. The deputies then went to a home on Lofton Road where they found chemicals inside. Investigators later determined the home was safe and the chemicals inside weren't harmful. WAFF 48's Charles Molineaux will have the latest on this investigation.

We're also asking the questions many parents and students had this morning after their school leaders postponed the start of classes by 2 to 3 hours because of the frigid cold. What factors contributed to that decision? WAFF 48's Shumuriel Ratlifff is talking to one school leader to answer those questions. This is especially important considering the predictions of yet another arctic cold front moving into the area next week.

Plus, we digging deeper into a Madison County mystery that many of you have asked us to investigate. WAFF 48's Sarah Navoy checked into a so-called "Black Widow" who lost all 7 of her husbands in mysterious fashion. We checked into the graveyard where the remains of the deceased are buried.

We hope you'll join us for these stories and more tonight at 10.
