A gas station employee told officers Brown tried to pass counterfeit money.
DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Police arrested a Decatur man Tuesday for
allegedly trying to use counterfeit money at a convenience store.
It happened around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at the
Kangaroo gas station on Sixth Avenue. An employee told police someone had tried
to pass the fake bills.
Officers investigated and then arrested
Demetrius Deondre Brown. He was charged with first-degree possession of a
