DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

State troopers reported that a wreck near Fort Payne cost one woman her life.

Troopers said Jessica Teat, 27, of Leeds died from injuries she received when her car left the road and hit a concrete drain.

Authorities said the wreck happened at 12:15 a.m. on Monday. The crash occurred on I-59 near the 214 mile-marker, four miles south of Fort Payne.
