HARVEST, AL (WAFF) -

A family in Harvest was displaced by a house fire early Sunday morning.

The alarm went out around 1 a.m. Toney Fire & Rescue said they were called in to assist Harvest Fire and Monrovia Fire & Rescue in battling the flames at 308 Cedar Trail Lane in the Kelly Plantation Subdivision.

When the first units arrived at the house, they said they saw flames showing from outside.

Toney Fire & Rescue said the homeowners were out of town and no one was inside. Madison County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating, and the Red Cross is assisting with the displacement of the family.
