District Attorney Robert Broussard said no criminal charges will be filed against Gunner Scarano, the teen accused of causing a deadly wreck.

Broussard said toxicology reports on Scarano came back clean. The DA presented the report to a grand jury and asked them not to return an indictment because no alcohol or other substances were found in his system.

Meanwhile, another family has filed a lawsuit against Scarano, the second filed against the teen and his father, Richard Scarano.

Huntsville police said Gunner Scarano caused multiple crashes along Bailey Cove Road back in May. Those crashes resulted in the death of 10-year-old Jaden Coppens.

Jaden's family filmed the lawsuit on Friday. Their lawsuit accused Scarano of negligence and wrongful death. They are suing him for $350,000.

The first lawsuit was filed last year by a driver of another car who was injured in the wreck.
