Gov. Bobby Jindal moved on to Osaka, Japan on Wednesday after visiting Seoul, South Korea the previous day as he continued his economic development mission to Asia.

While in Japan, Jindal will meet with five major global companies. One of those is Shin-Etsu, which already has an operation in Louisiana.

The governor will also make a stop in Tokyo.

The governor's office said the companies he will meet with in the two Japanese cities have more than $150 billion in annual sales collectively and employ more than 260,000 workers.

Jindal's office added the industries of those companies vary, but include chemicals and advanced manufacturing.
