FORT PAYNE, AL (WAFF) -

Two people are in custody charged with committing vehicle break-ins at downtown Fort Payne businesses.

Kalop Peppers and Alisha Otinger are now facing charges of unlawful breaking and entering. Fort Payne Police said there were two break-ins Wednesday afternoon, followed by one at another business a short time later.

The stolen items were recovered. Police said the pair are linked to other thefts and more charges are pending.
