WANTED: Police search for man considered 'armed and dangerous'

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Officers with the Navassa Police Department are searching for a man they are calling "armed and dangerous" who accused of being involved in a shooting late Wednesday night.

According to the Navassa Police Chief, Anthony Anderson is suspected of shooting Tyson McMillan, 19, on a path between Water and Main Streets in Navassa.

McMillan was shot in the back, rushed to the hospital and taken into surgery. Police believe McMillan will recover from his injuries.

According to authorities, detectives believe Anderson and McMillan knew each other. They say an argument happened before the shooting.
