ATHENS, AL (WAFF) -

A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Toney woman, Wednesday morning, according to Alabama State Troopers.

The victim was identified as 49-year-old Tina Patterson Hogan. Troopers said Hogan was driving down Highway 251 two miles north of Athens when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

According to State Troopers, Hogan was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
