Police: Phone sale turns into robbery

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police responded to an armed robbery on Newson Road Tuesday night.

The robbery happened around 8 p.m. The victim told police that he had agreed to meet the offender in a parking lot on the 4100 block of Newson Road to sell him an iPhone.

The victim said that during the encounter, the robber took the victim's phone and implied that he had a weapon. The robber then fled the scene.

No one has been arrested yet. The victim was not injured.
