GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Authorities said Judy Malene Sommers, 70, of Guntersville was found safe Tuesday at a Marshall County warming center.

Deputies said Sommers suffers from dementia. Authorities said Sommers had not been seen or heard from since Sunday morning. The family delayed reporting her missing because they believed she was with a friend.

She was due for a doctor's appointment in Huntsville on Monday but did not show.
